While waiting for DigginGirl to finish her function at school this afternoon, I dug this ring up. It's a ladies ring, but very big, marked .925. The stone is brown, a garnet I think. It was in the woodchips, I didn't clean it a bit. I don't think it was there very long.

Sorry, had to use the scanner, the camera isn't working. The second pic is of the stone.

Maybe sometime, but this ring fits a HUGE finger. Hopefully, it will never fit her. :D

Congrats on a very cool find. I think, however, that the stone is not garnet. I see absolutely no red hue there. Not to say that it isn't very beautiful because it is. I think perhaps it is agate though.
