Agateized fossil? Flower?

My son found this about five years ago in southern MN. This area we were finding all kinds of fossils in limestone and then he pulls this out! I just thought it was so cool and now he's 14 and wondering what it is. I just tell him it's a fossil. Lol. What is it?? Thanks for looking and helping if you can!

Agatized coral. The small round things are the individual polyps.

If you have access to a tile saw, they look pretty amazing cut in half (across the grain).

It is so neat and interesting to look at. It makes sense that it's coral because the other fossils there were shell type things.

I agree with gordonquixote , i have quite a few fossils , ammonites, shell type, coral etc. But none like that.,Agatized!!! Very nice,, a keeper for sure. Haha
