So I found what I believe to be a very unique petoskey stone fossil. Its yellow and much harder than typical limestone white petoskey stone. On the same walk, in between Cherlevoix and Petoskey, I also found a banded agate. I have never heard of agatized petoskey stone or finding an agate on lake michigan. i cannot find either of these online.

Can anyone tell me how rare these are and/or about them.

Hi. I am new to this site, so if I do anything wrong, please forgive me.
The one does look like a petosky stone. It may have had different minerals available to it, to give it a little different color. The other stone looks like a Lake Superior agate. The lakes are close to each other, so finding it on Michigan doesn't surprise me. Anyway, look up Superior agates. I believe you'll find that it appears to be that.
