Very interesting product. Has anyone looked into this. This product plugs into a audio 3.5 mm port as in a detector and using Bluetooth to communicate with a Bluetooth wireless device such as a Apple airbud.
Advertised price around $50.

Cost more but it is very tough for field use. The external speaker is nice for when you want it. You still have a cord to deal with but I run it up my back and over my shoulder most of the time.

When your crawling in brush or it is awesome to not be attached to your machine

I remember the 1st time I went wireless.

It was an fm transmitter box plugged into my Eagle Spectrum and big ass radio receiver headphones.

It was weird to hear my detector humming away when I set it down to walk away to use a restroom 100 yds away.
I used my 1970's headphones and an fm converter till they died in the 2010's
