I thought I'd try to deviate from my norm and post something interesting here.

In this group pic is a hammer, two large scrapers, three small scrapers and a bladelet.

A closer view of the hammer.

The large scrapers. Most this size here have a "crab shell" appearance. They seem to have a better fit in either the left or right hand. Cortex can be seen in the last pic of this group.

The smaller scrapers. Cortex present on one of these as well. The first one is the best I have of it's size.

The bladelet. Hard to tell whether this one was worn down from usage or was never touched up as the edges are now dull/broken. Still a cool piece as I hardly ever come across one here--especially made from quartz.

Thanks for looking.

Nice finds , reminds me of the first fields I ever hunted there was quartz artifacts everywhere I would find 1 flint point for every 50 quartz points

I could have misidentified this one Dennis. The extreme curvature, slim, thin profile and it being narrow and unifacial is what made me think bladelet.

I was just thinking out loud the pieces I have are larger and could be used as a knife or scraper . Like this

Nice hammerstone and tools. I like seeing different types of tools, not just points. Here is a hammerstone I found earlier this year. 0721191655b.jpg 0721191654.jpg
