All ashore that's going ashore..

There are two families of geese down the river where I fish this one is coming ashore for the young to feed a bit..








then all four of them went under mom's wing to snooze a bit.

The baby geese here are a lot older than these. The are looking like full size birds now.

I was driving to town the other day and saw in a field what I thought at first was a flock of geese, but after looking closely it was three pair of adult geese and it must have been at least twenty or thirty half grown young ones.

Friday I had to stop to let a family of geese cross a four lane road. Thankfully other drivers stopped as well and everyone crossed safely.
