Well got out with Ron again today to a few spots...the 1st place wa s very trashy and we did not really find anything.....i found an old buckle at the 2nd place and a clay marble.....
Our 3rd stop was the house where ron found his great looking standing lib quarter..i was hunting the edge of the lawn near some pines and when it popped out i though it was an old indian ,but it was even better!!!!Civil war store card!!!!!Lited in token book on page 498 as 175c-1a R2 rarity and it has the date of 1863 on it!!
we hit another spot and did not do to well there, but Ron had me stop at housse he had been wanting to ask permission for..The lady was very nice and granted us permission to search. We were finding a ton of clad and finally i dug a wheat, then 2 more..after a dry spell i started slowing down with etrac and started digging wheats in the side yard and ron was digging in the front..I got a good signal for a dime and thought oh well another clad, but it turned out to be a 1919 canadian silver dime!!! i got 13 wheats from this yard and the dime....about a buck in clad.....
I had a great day and again i say thanks to Ron for sharing all these hunting spots with me!!!
