All the B's today

It has really warmed up here this week, about 12 degrees C, and sunny . The bumble bees and butterflies were starting to come out of hibernation, so I grabbed the camera and took Benson for a walk in the countryside .

The first few pics are of Peacock butterflies and Bumble bees sunning themselves and getting busy

The I hit on the idea of catching a bee in flight, harder than it looked , this was the best I got today.

Then Bensons best friend saw him and decided enough pictures for today, time for play instead

Nice pics! Funny how you should mention all of the "B's". My friends and I figure some of the best things in life start with the letter "B". A few examples are: Beer, Babes, Bucks, Brunettes, Bait, Boats, Bass, Bluegill, Booze, Bars etc., etc. along with some I can't add to this thread. Guess we'll have to add Benson to the list. (Benson doesn't care about Bees and Butterflys, he wants to fetch some Blasted Birds)

his buddy looks like he is saying, "Let's play, OR ELSE"

OK PB, I had a chat with Benson on the B subject. This is his input, Beer, Beef, Bonio's, Birds, Brooks, Bloody long walks, Bitches and Bitchen' good Beer. I know, Beer was mentioned already, but we both like it

Ray, you must know Jet, Benson's best mate. That was his intent and he achieved it. I used the 8 frames per second option on the new camera, and he was still moving too fast , just you wait till I get used to it, I'll get some great shots then

Oh wow!!!! You did it again Ian, I look forward each day to see what you will post. You have an incredible eye and gift for photography, and my pc is getting upset with me, cause I keep saving my favorite pics of yours, so I can see them when I want!!!! Benson is such a handsome ol guy, Jet is a beauty, and your bird pics are amazing! Keep up the great work, I can't wait to see what you post next!!!!! I might post the rest of the shots, some in focus, most out. He saw Benson and me and just bolted to us, through ponds and puddles, the camera's auto focus couldn't keep up . It was great to see though .
