This collapsed pile of rubble is the oldest existing remnant of a stone furnace in Western Pennsylvania. It was first fired up by William Turnbull in 1792 and finally banked in 1802. If you'd like to visit, it's on Jacob's Creek and you can get there by following the signs on a hunter's path going through the state gamelands.
