Today Michaelangelo and I went back to the spot in the woods we hunted earlier this year. We found a few more former home sites and even a neat old tobacco barn. Lots of bottles and glass on the surface (many late 40's - 50's) so we picked up a few. Mike found the one and only coin for the day being a 1919 wheat penny. The Allis Chalmers watch fob is from 40's.

Thanks for looking and happy hunting :icon_sunny:

Lots of nostalgia there

My brother had one of those "Thingmakers" Creepy Crawler sets back in the '60's

Those 3 mattel molds are from a toy called Creepy Crawlers? I think, use to have the kit, I think it's in the attic. I'm going up there tomorrow to see if I can find it. :laughing7:

IS,
What a great bunch of unusual finds! :icon_thumleft: The FOB is a super find, and so is that Coke carrier. Great shape.
I remember those molds too from the 60's. Creepie Crawlers and Incredible Edibles, we had them all as kids. Haven't seen those in a coons age.
Thanks for the great post & pictures,
Doug

Hi IronSpike,

Good vintage loot. I like a wide-mouth milk bottle. Is it embossed? It must be from the 30's. Great Cola carrier and a fob!!!

I agree with WC on the nostalgia. I had that same set...not sure of the "Creepy Crawler" name, but I made many flowers with it.

The Coca-Cola Bottle carrier and the Log cabin stand out in this post. I want that log cabin in my backyard. That is really neat looking. I think you bottle caddy is collectable.

I really like finding watch fobs and enjoying all the different merchant and manufacturer information they can carry, along with all of the different imagery.

I like that one; it is like staring down the barrel of a tractor.

You all got into some cool stuff. I like the Coke carrier and the Allis Chalmers fob. I still have my Creepy Crawler Thing Maker in the barn somewhere.
