I found these today in a sand wash on a creek. The left hand piece may be debitage. It is thin enough to be a flake. The other piece looks like a worked edge, but may be from water tumbling. I’m prepared for “just a rock” on either or both pieces. It is funny how they catch my eye vs the thousands of other rocks lying there.

they are both worked , the black one looks almost whole. the other is piece of flint.

I believe you have found your first for sure artifacts. Both look to be scrapers the tan one being a flake removed I can see the bulb of percussion on the one side. Black one might be a broken tip I can’t tell for sure but does show work. Congratulations 👍
Now follow that washout to the end and find their friends

Im confident on the tan one, the black one looks like it has a little fire damage. That makes me suspicious if the rest is human or fire, either way though I’d say it’s at least debitage.
