What part of the east coast of Florida did you move to?

Do you think that Waikiki is the best beach to metal detect while one is in Hawaii. What is your opinion?

I lived on the Big Island of Hawaii... Waikiki is on Oahu, so I'm not the authority there. Check with Mongo, I believe he lives there. I met a guy who told me when he lived there, it was nothing to find a handful of gold in a day there????? Alot of competion to.

Aloha Steve

Where on the Big Island were you. I'm from Kona now living in Minnesota?

Duh!!! I remember we had that conversation before. It's been so cold here this winter (-32) that my brain must be frozen. At least today it was 40. Monday -2.

Aloha, I was in Pahoa, East side, south of Hilo...By the flowing lava. I was born & raised in Ohio so I know about cold... Hell it was 47 here this morning.. Now that's just wrong.

Re: the best place to detect. Waikiki is by far the best as any other beach, especially on the Big Island and Kauai are basically controlled by big resorts. My experience is that they will sic Odd Job on you and he will give you a demonstration of what he will do with your metal detector if you aren't already leaving :tard:
