I never could find quarters, didn't really bad mouth them but there just don't seem to be any.

I always said that quarters were the hardest silver coins to find, after searching 3 bags of quarters and only coming up with 1-2 in each bag, I didn't change my mind. Until this week! I messed up on my order for half boxes so none were coming in so I went by a bank that will sell bags and got two bags of quarters. 1 I could see 2 silvers through the plastic, I left that one for second, the other I searched and yup 2 silver's only. The other one, someone must have dumped a hoard. The silvers were all in one area of the bag and there were 36 of them and 1 80% Canadian. In my ENTIRE life I had only found 5 silver quarters in 15 years of CRHing, this is a bonanza.

I just picked up a bag of dimes this afternoon, same Bank as other bags, but a different Branch in a different town. Maybe different luck.

Ben: checked the entire bag last night watching basketball games, came in with finding 13-silver Rosies. I'm fine with those numbers, averages out to 3.25/box (4-boxes equivalent to a box).

Dozer - excellent! My bags are hit or miss but it is still fun.

Argentium - I picked up $100 worth of 40% (not face silver value) got 34 40% so that is about $3 per, a bit of a markup but if you don't support local coin stores we will be relegated to Ebay only.

We have two near me and one has been going out of business for a while, now only open 1 day a week. I can't blame him, he is 75 and is making mistakes and so retiring. He is giving good prices on silver and I get dated Buffs for 50 cents each
