My streak at finding bone awls is still going with three more this weekend making it 5 so far this year. These were found in the same small area where my streak of 9 started last summer.

I also found several points (lars thinks the flint point is a re-worked Besant), a variety of scrapers and what I think is an antler feather dart.

that is a bunch of nice pieces
compare your re- sharpened or re-touched besant to this one
the bases look very close, you have nice pieces there man
i think the tip on yours suffered impact damage and was then re-used, (re-touched, re- sharpened) which makes me think yours is very cool and adds to the mojo of this extra durable piece
which apparently was a good one, (maybe a 'lucky' point) yup TWitko, you have one that could have been used for several years?

Thanks John, Steve is the one that got me started finding this cool stuff. We work a little and then get to look a little. It's a great site and we're very lucky to be able to hunt it.
