It was 50 degrees today and my wife had plans with her mom so might as well get out. I got into the woods around 9am and didn't get out till 4ish. Long productive hunt.

1st spot was a 1900s school from what the topos show. All that stands now is the foundation

I worked the areas behind the school and got a few early wheats then boom hit a old tree and got a 84 85 on the deus but it sounded weird.. but good got a little spill. 1905 barber dime and 1902 IH

Then I got a cool Kent pocket knife and a no date buff and a 1902 V all from the little area behind the school... and the signals disappeared like that. So I hiked in the woods for a bit and came to a old boyscout camp.

Great hunt! I always blew off foundations that were made out of concrete blocks thinking they were newer until I found out they made them in the 1800's! Even cinder blocks were made in 1917.

Good work on your research and very great finds. A different frequency might change your numbers, if it were me I might only go from 50 to 97. I'd have to look but I think I only have 97 on up notched out. I like to be able to hear that iron so I can slow down. Don't get me wrong, your results show it worked for you, just gets a little tricky around iron and hate to think you might of notched out a silver dollar.
There is more stuff there, keep hitting the same areas trying different settings, your ground balance can change that VDI readings too. I just dig every repeatable signal and hope those high ones are Morgans!
