Went through a few boxes and found some things I had forgotten about. Maybe you can tell me what some are especially the one with the hole. Illustrations of the broken grey one. Then the pile of pottery rims and legs. All personal finds
I like finding potsherds but haven't come across a rim piece yet like yours. Nice

What’s the story on the discoidal pic? That’s from Mark Clark’s collection. I was good friends with him. He passed away last yr.

Comparison to the piece I’ve found. It was in a states book I own. My section is the same TN type discodial drilled in the middle and dished.

So my question is
Is the last one a type of Gorget?
It’s made from slate

Your pottery definitely beats any that I have found. About 2 years ago I found 2 pieces that had design in Central Georgia, anything south of that I found was plain small pieces except 1 big piece I found digging in Florida. It was plain but it was about a 7 by 5 thin sherd.

I don’t find much with decoration anymore mostly plain. I believe the plain is early woodland
