Was able to get out yesterday with the M.A.R.C.H crew to some sites and man did it produce. Thanks to Tim for being such a great host and to Jersey for driving. Some great finds were made yesterday Wes found a beautiful Virginia button and Tim's 9 year old found an outstanding 1812 Navy button. Jersey did his typical by pulling the only silver coin of the day with his mercury dime. I found a nice variety of item including a few firsts for me. My two firsts were the 1891 French 5 centimes which came out in great shape. However my find of the day and my best find in a long time would have to be the 1773 Virginia half penny!!!! If you would like to see what the other guys found you can check out their youtube channels and Wes-n-VA.

Congrats on the colonial copper, whenever I see a green disk in or on the side of the hole I always get excited. Colonial coins are the most fun things to find, I love researching the coin after I find it, or figuring out what that toasted green disk I find is.

Coinman123,

Congrats on your VA HP. I'd like to get just one state copper some day.

Great finds. Any state copper is an awesome recovery

Great score on the virginia. You guys always get onto some great sites and I always enjoy watching the videos.

Well done on the Va. half penny ! :laughing7: all these 2 word comments with dig it , nice digs , dig this , dig that, remind me of something , I think it was a " frog cartoon ", dig it , dig it . Getting back , great find.

I put up a video on youtube if anyone is interested. My channel name is Chad Joyner.
