It's all in the numbers...9x19, 40 S&W, .357, 5.56x45, 7.62x51

A word of caution to those that wish to do no good, my wife shoots better than I. She is very sincere, you are trespassing and she has the maternal instinct to protect her children. May your God have mercy on your soul.

Always a pump shotgun....the sound of you pumping in a round is enough to make someone think twice about their next step and which direction it would be in! lol

Well I'm not an American but I'm gonna put my two bob in anyway.
Here in Australia you nearly have to be in the army to get your hands on any sort of firearm, our laws are very strict. Good in a way as we don't have a huge amount of violent gun related crime.
I have a combat knife and a replica luger. The luger would only do any damage if I threw it really hard ;D ;D

My personal favorite is the 20-gauge with slugs. Works on deer, why not humans?

While living in TN, two creepos wearing masks decided they wanted to break into my house (actually one was trying to steal my 4-wheeler while the other was trying to get into the garage which was attached to the house!) I threw my children between the bed and the wall (they were little and slept with me at the time), called 911 and gave the address and informed them that I was armed, left them on hold! and took off after the culprits. I had a revolver which I didn't feel was enough gun. The masked invaders outran me, literally (I was in my nightgown and barefoot), so I came back home and called my Dad that night (We're from KY) and told him to bring my shotguns and rifles, all of them. He brought them the next day and I've slept well ever since. Nobody has tried to break in again.

well for the indoors it,s eather a p 14 para, charter arms 44 pug , ruger 44 blackhawk , ruger 45long colt vaquero, or the 12ga 870 . when i was younger i used to keep a 1917 colt in 45acp next to the bed , thank god i never had to us it , the thing was heavy duty ,i mean you could have thrown it off a cliff and I'm sure it would still have fired but i thank the trigger pull was about 15lb on it. but it was preety accurate i could hit a coffee can at 75 yards with the thing ,

Shotguns are great (my Rem 870 magnum is usually close by). BUt remember... they are artillery and should be treated as such, especially inside. As with any firearm inside the house... you have to worry about wall penetration. 00 buck will go right through most walls quite easily. And the scatter gets wider as deflection occurs. so... If you're going to use the 12ga inside... consider them like artillery and keep the troops (aka family) behind them.

Yeah... coming to my house with bad intentions is definitely not advisable.

cut down to #4 buck or even #4 turkey load at close range its bad news without blowing thru the walls or if you can get them "flechette rounds" or as some call em "shredders"-- a whole bunch of like tiny little razor blade bits---ugly---just ugly--real ugly---but then again your not trying to make freinds with him now are you? if you just want him down and out , period ---then their just the ticket.

I'm not American but 'yes' Canadians have guns too..
My Fav is a Stainless Para 1640 LDA Ltd. (.40 S&W) but if or when TSHTF, I would grab my Norinco 12Ga Tactical pump. 18" barrel, pistol grip, full open cylinder.. With the scope on it, it shoots 3" groupings at 100 yrds, using the elcheepo Remington 2 3/4" slugs.. With BB it throws a pattern about 12 feet wide at 30 feet it's even uglier with SSG..
My business is right next to my house, and up in the top left corner of the door (you would only look there if you were looking for alarm trips) is a little sign that says..
"My Home and Business are protected by the fine products of Smith & Wesson. There is NOTHING on this Property worth your life"..
Even the local cops like it ;D
