Haven't been to this field since last year.First target was the Canadian large cent Dated 1882.I heard it first and looked down, and there it was on the top.Next was the indian head penny dated 1865.It was 2"deep.Found it about 20 min later.Next was the Canadian small cent dated 1930.I figured that was all I was going to get so I started to head back to my truck.I don't know about everyone else but I always keep swinging till I get to the road.4 feet from the ditch I get a nice solid 85-88 on my DFX.I figured it was gonna be another piece of copper ,since I already had about 15 pieces.I pinpointed it and it was down 1"I I dug a small plug and then I saw the rim of the coin!!It turned out to be an 1837 Coronet Head U.S. Large cent.My oldest one yet!!I hope tomorrow is just as good cause im goin back!!
