Sorry I am just posting now, I haven't had time to post this yet.

I had had a great end of this last week between Thursday and Saturday detecting together with my 2 friends Michael and Netanel. We all had fun and all found great things

These are my friend Netanel's finds. The finds include:Indian head pennies: 2 1884s, 1889, 1908. The Barber is 1908. 1865 2 cent piece and a bunch of wheats. He also found 2 cool spoons and 2 cool flat buttons, one had a bunch of tools on it (shovel, rake, broom, etc)

These are my friend Michael's finds. Finds from left to right: flintlock pistol butt cap, 1896 IHP, 1859 IHP, awesome colonial brass shoe buckle frame, colonial flat button, 1940 Canadian dime, 1901 barber dime, 1944 merc, buffalo nickel, Canadian penny, 1951 rosie, 1952 rosie, 1945 quarter, and a bunch of wheats.

Here are my finds. The top copper is a worn out classic head. Next to it is a fancy watch winding key. The bottom copper is a beautiful 1853 Braided hair large cent. The other finds are: 1949 rosie, 1943 merc, and my first heel plate.

I also dug this crusty old Indian out in a corn field.

The two large cents

These objects were all found around different old sites in my area.

This was one one of my favorite series of hunts because we all found great things and there was not any jealousy.

Good Luck and Happy Hunting

You guys made some nice finds! Especially like the shoe buckle (which it definitely is), the pistol butt plate, and the watch winder.

Curious - do you remember what the IHP(s) and LC rang up on the 400? VDI? In the mid 70's?

Hi pepperdawg

The crusty IHP I found out in the corn field rang around 73, which is weird because Indians usually ring 79-80, so not quite sure what's up with that one.
The classic head LC rang 88
The braided hair LC rang 90-91, higher than the classic head due to it being a little thicker (and the classic head was very worn while the braided hair had almost no wear)

Thanks for asking
