I spent an hour in the neighbors yard this afternoon just to play with the 2500 for a few minutes.

I'm surprised no quarters. I was in the jewelery setting and digging bell tones. The pop tops were my attempt to find a nickel. No nickels either. The little ring came up as a quarter as did the other little chunks of metal.

So then I played around a little and stuck some coins on their edges. Mostly invisible one direction, a double tone the other. I stuck a fat men's gold ring in the ground to listen to it a little. Just playing and learning the machine a bit more.

By the way, the sand in Florida is dry, and really easy to dig, nothing frozen down here!
