An old ring

BedfordBob, my son and I got out to the late 1700s hotel site again for about an hour and a half. Earlier in the day, some brush was mowed down so we can actually swing the detector over the entire site... prior to this only about 40% of the area was detectable. We are planning on being at this site until the ground freezes. :wink:

While its not pretty, I found this ring about 6 inches down. Anyone care to guess a date? ;D

I'd guess 1780's looks like 24k Gold. :o :icon_scratch: Tell us what you know ? :dontknow: :notworthy:
