I was in need of some peace of mind today.
So, I decided on a short walk around a place
that always seems to restore something in me.
My beloved, "Mansion".

I didn't concentrate at all today but it still
treated me to a couple nice surprises.
Even gave me two coins! And...as some, here, know,
that is a pretty rare thing at this point with my
mansion.

This old knife was a good 10 inches deep.
Not sure what style it would be, it used to
be a folding knife though.

A 1984 clad quarter. :dontknow: They follow me.

Blingie looking for a ride? :dontknow:

A new "red" baron? LOL

This Spitfire was more than 10 inches deep!

Anyway, mission accomplished.
Thanks for peeking!

Fishie is ready for the Battle of Britain in his Supermarine Spitfire! Being 10 inches deep, I wonder if delinquent squirrels or gophers grab kids' toys at night and drag them deep down into their tunnels, just to spite them! Great hunt, Whadi, just proves they are never hunted out. Sub 8-)

Thanks everyone!

I was thinking along the same vein. I do believe the plane is
my favorite toy find of the year. :)

Oldies and goodies!

Fishy looks very happy, you have given him wings! Maybe he will give you a ride.

Pssst....does Blingie have a permit to drive? Next thing you know Blingie will be hard to find, he'll be out looking for bling!

Nice relaxing walk at your favorite place, and it didn't let you down.

Maybe the pocket knife will offer up a hint as to its identity. Old things don't like to be hurried....i should know.

Nice score on the Indian Head Cent. Toasted or NO it's always a cool find. The British Spitfire is really cool too. I love toy planes coming out of the dirt. Also pocket knives are cool finds as they were someone's valued tool. Great little jaunt for your peace of mind mate.:headbang:
