My uncle had these in his backyard for years, one of his friends gave him his rock collection a while back and he just stuck them out in the backyard, he asked me the other day if I still gold prospect and I told him rarely, after years of searching for my big gold nugget I found out I'm much better at finding rocks lol, anyway he mentioned the collection after I told him about digging for fire agates and he said I could just have them, I finally got over there today.
Here's a few, First one is almost 23lbs, I'm thinking its chrysocolla and azurite maybe.

Thanks Kray, I don't think that's a fire agate, the one cut yeah I'm not sure what kind of agate it is but I love it to, I wish I knew where he got it.

I saw it had similar botryoidal growth and color and assumed it was fire agate. You would know, for sure. I did a little search, and see many agate specimens have that growth habit. Nice nonetheless.

Could this be a fossil by chance, like petrified wood or river coral agate maybe, by chance if anyone recognizes this kind of agate your help would be much appreciated. Thanks,
Steve.

You'd probably have to stabilize it but yes it could be made into jewelry, its solid blue secondary copper minerals, it's not a layer on rock/ore so maybe it could be cut into slabs but its really brittle so you'd have to be real careful and know what you're doing I'm guessing, thing is huge, almost 23lbs.
