The pics are of a brass handle I found digging. No idea what it goes to, with any luck someone here knows or can find out. I'm hoping it's a sword handle but I suspect that it'll be for a cane or table or something. I've also found a silver half dollar, another mercury dime, a small silver flag eagle and earlier when I was raking a "fishermans luck" fishing knife showed up near my feet. Could it be a brass handle/pommel to an old flintlock or percussion cap pistol?

not one pictured here, obviously, but something similar? Looks pretty smooth and worn.

Thanks for the replies, my dad said that it could be a old flintlock pistol handle too. It does look a lot like the piece from the horse harnesses and it's been a long time since one of those was galloping around this property. I'm honestly not convinced on any one thing solid enough to call it that yet. I'm sure I'll find a use for this thing eventually tho, it is really cool and does fit quite well in the hand.
