Tom........ thats a yes. Nice weights. I have to agree especially when you are talking PI for water use. Used to be people would tie a sock with sand on the coil to keep coils down......... got to thank Andersons. A lot of people dont even know these are out there for purchase.

Thanks Dewcon,
I'll be ordering one along with an Anderson shaft. I have found gold and platinum rings with the Dual Field but It is annoying trying to keep it just off the bottom

A 3-1/4 inch piece of .600 (or .562 same as 9/16") diameter stainless steel rod slipped into the lower shaft will do the same, keep the coil down and not affect the detector's operation.

Note: 5/8 diameter is an interference fit and may not go all the way to the bottom of the shaft. If you feel the 9/16 fit is too loose, wrap it with some electrical tape before inserting it into the shaft.

We used to use SS coil bolts..... got away from them for a couple of reasons. The problem with any metal with in 28" of that coil is it can produce a dead spot. Even moving with the coil its still in the magnetic field and it still moves unless you have a coil stabilizer.
