Another artifact my coworker showed me today

2 7/8 by 1 1/4 I'm guessing a raging blunt or some type of blade. The same coworker that showed me that huge adena like point surprised me today by showing me this. Sorry the pictures aren't that great, I had to take them inside because it was dark outside. This is a cool piece and it's fairly thin for what it is and it's size. He said it is a personal find in South Alabama.

I like it. My first thought was that it has the general outline of a Benton.

a hafted blunt could be used as a pelt/skin prep tool...a heavy duty scraper of sorts.

Can't tell by the picture but the tip nick is ancient and I think it was intentional.
