Another "better than not going" days.

Although, the finds make it hard for me to not feel like this was a successful hunt.

The sun was just sooooo hot today, I opted for finding all those treasures that were left in the shade of the spreading chestnut trees. LOL

Literally! I ONLY walked in the shade! LOL

That tends to limit a bit but look at the finds anyway:




Whole wheat toast aisle. 54, 45, 20, and an ??



A flower button of some sort. Kind of tall. The back is rusted out, the tiny thing next to it is what's left of the loop/hole.



Even found a lil ring, (aluminum, I think). My lil lizard thinks it would make a nice new collar. LOL.

So, Wheaties, old button, ring, battery fund. Now how can I say this was a bad hunt.

Detecting in the shade under old trees is the only way to on the dog days of summer,plus that's where most of the oldies are!

I've got the exact button I found this past winter. I found it in the general area where I found some CW bullets. Not sure if its period or not. I'm in Middle TN. Nice finds!
