Another couple of handfuls of 44.-40's and a few home-made sinkers...

I went back to the .44-40 hole I found a few days ago in the river, and gathered up a few more. I don't think they are particularly old, but it was fun digging them. I also found a few old home-made sinkers. I really like to collect these as they are all different. Also included in my finds are a couple of musket balls and odds and ends. I posted a video on YouTube of me digging the artillery shell a few days ago. I'll try to make the link here, if I'm not successful, just search for aquachigger. It's pretty cool. TFL!

How did you ever comeup with aquachigger,itchy little buggers they are!Nail Polish works good on em though.With all that SOMEONE had to have had a randon drop SOMEWHERE.Find It,doin good so far,don't stop now old bean!Chow! HH

90% of all 44-40 loaded ammo sold today is lead projectile. You have to look hard to
find jacketed ammo. That shotshell is definately pretty new. Clean a few of those 44-40 shell
bases and take some close ups. Great pile of treasure just the same.... I'd be elated.
