Dad had scouted out an area of bird cover & failed rape that we could do. It was on the edge of a Roman Site & we spent 4 hours 45 minutes hunting, so a fair sized area.
1 picture is a short hunt by Dad on Thurs, which included a Silver 1820s Geo IV Shilling cut into a pendant.

Todays:

3 Roman Coins
18th C Pewter Button - one of my most complete with a good design!:icon_thumright:
Keys - I noticed when I got back none were cut.:icon_scratch:
50 Cal Bullet
Roman Fibula/Brooch
Medieval Coin Weight
Lead Token
Bits....

All in all a worthwhile trip.

Really liking the Fibular, token, and weight. The Shilling cut out pendent is a really cool find, wonder how long ago it was done?

Good hunt for this time of the year! Crudad's pendant is very cool. I would straighten it an reuse. Too nice to store it in a dark box somewhere!

Its very worn, so I'm guessing about 1900-1910.
