Another good hunt , but this old Seated girl has seen better days.

I was able to get out to a Phoenix park for a 7 hour hunt. Man what a lot of digging for this old man!. I recovered 135 clad coins along with 5 Wheat pennies from 1918 to 1957. Also was able to dig 2 silver dimes, 1957 Rosie and an 1875 Seated Liberty dime that has seen much better days. This park has continued to produce silver coins. Three on the last hunt at this location and two on this one. IMG_0001.JPG IMG_0002.JPG IMG_0003.JPG IMG_0004.JPG IMG_0005.JPG IMG_0006.JPG IMG_0007.JPG It was a nice hunt with temps in the high 70's for all you north east hunters fighting snow and cold. Thanks for looking and keep on swinging.

Very nice! We're there any spills, or does each coin represent a hole dug? Either way, that looks like it was a fun day!

I'd be thrilled with that seated dime! One coin that is eluding my coil!

Congratulations, I think anything 1800's out West is impressive.

Good location. If it is producing wheat and old Silver, I would keep hitting it.
Congratulations on your finds.

Congrats on your silvers. At least you can identify it as a Seated coin.

Heck of a marathon hunt. I think 4 hours is my longest. Good job saving the Seated dime. Congrats!

There were 2 spills about one foot apart that gave up over 40 coins, mostly quarters, dimes and nickels. The rest were mostly single coins.

The trouble with silver out here in my area is they come out of the ground with a heavy black-grey crust that conceals what they are until you do some cleaning.

congrats on the excellent find plus the hundreds of holes dug! Seated are a treasure no matter the condition but at least you could both ID and get a date

Wow, nice perseverance on your marathon hunt! That Seated dime seems kind of out of place with the age of the other coins. Strange. Nice going!

Congratulations on your finds.

I will keep on the same park. There has to be more there. It may have to wait a month as the wife and I leave for Australia and New Zealand on Monday.
