Trapperart, congrats on that New Jersey Copper, your other copper in the center looks like a old LC that wreath looks like I should know it. Try soaking it in light oil or mineral oil for awhile, might get a date.

Nice going. At first glance the NJ horses head style looks like a 46-e or 54-k. Maybe Don in SJ has better eyes than me.

How nice to have such an old place to hunt. Nice to get out. I'm starting to dig up the big iron pieces that null my detector. Just curious, do you dig any of the big iron signals? I have always thought its just junk iron. Some of the rusted relics are amazing. Thanks for the post.:)

Yes I do dig the iron, there have been 2cannon balls found at this site. I dig all and scrap the junk.
