Stayed local and hit my new hot spot park. I got 2 Mercs 1939 D, 1941 S, 1 Rosie 1948 D, 1 War Nickel 1945 S, A Utah sales tax token and a 1914 D Barber Dime (dug at 9 inches). The only bad thing is most of the coins were in a hard gravel and dirt mix. My hunting partner also got his second silver ever a 1920 S Merc dime.
Thanks for looking

Congrats on the silver dime trifecta. :occasion14: You don't find silvers in the local parks around here. Too many MDers over the past 4 decades have hunted and cleaned out the old park in town.

That's what people around here think. Go with a big coil, max sensitivity and go super slow. Plus grid the whole park. I've been finding only 5 to 10 coins an hour because the parks have been heavily hit. When a dime is at 7 or more inches the coil has to be almost perfect dead center to get a week hit. No park is ever hunted out, just give it a decent shot you'll be surprised

Very nice silvers, & I like the Utah Tax Token. I have dug tax tokens from Illinois, Oklahoma & Alabama.

I too am amazed you could score the trifecta out of local parks ! Good Job , Keep em coming .
It may take awhile but I can usually find silver in any park, even one's I feel I completely hunted. That Barber comes from a park I find mainly Barbers in, I have a park for Indian heads and barbers and now a park that I find mainly Mercs in
