Went back to the same park, same area, same approach where, on Wednesday, I scored a LC and a cherry barber dime. Today, the 1st target was another barber dime...1914. The next target was a buffalo, followed by an 1816 LC. Rounded it out with a 1903 IHP. One of my best days in a long long time. The slightly larger copper on the upper left is very thick and don't even think it's a coin but i gotta clean it up to be sure.

Definitely my best 2-day stretch.

Happy hunting all!

Congrats on the repeat performance.
Curious as to what the thick medallion might be.
Post pictures after cleaning.

Very well done. Nice selection of old coins. Good to see you posting.

Good luck.

Edit: You got a nice cent trifecta there.

Thanks. I think it's just a pressure release punch or something. It's about 1/8" thick and slick on both sides.

That park is looking good for you! It gave up a few more keepers! I would make another trip. Good look in your next adventure!

Maybe its a cartwheel or a twopence. Nice finds. :occasion14:

Those large cents seem out of place with the other finds. Hopefully you will find some earlier silver or at least some earlier indian heads in that area

Nice coin shooting. Even a big old copper slug is cool. :icon_thumright:
