Hunted the Meadows field again today. The sun was very hot and the ground was very hard, but I managed to stick it out for another 3 1/2 hours before exhaustion set in. The following finds made it well worth while.
Another nice Mercury dime:
A few Indians (not in the best of shape):
12 wheaties , including four 1916's, and 2 memorials:
A couple of eagle pins:
A fireman's button and a school bus token might give you an idea where the Meadows is:
A tiny toy pistol:
I'm not sure what this little metal tube was used for, but it has an advertisement for a shop in my old home town, Chester, PA, so I thought it was neat. The phone number should give you a hint about its age.
