Stopped by GW for lunch and saw two jewelry jars for $15 each. One had a couple fake Rolex watches. So I bought it, telling the clerk, Oh look, some fake Rolexes”. Then the other jar has a deployment clasp marked “Breitling” and I said it was fake also. So I bought it.
Looking at the Breitling, I’m pretty positive that it’s a real Aerospace. The band is very worn and I could barely make out a Breitling emblem and the movement has everything but the Breitling emblem I’ve seen online. Crossing fingers that it’s real!

Very nice find. Does anyone have list of watch names to look out for? I can't remember too many at a time.

Sweeeeet! I know nothing about that model but based on a quick look online I’d say it’s real.

Looks real to me even down to the Swiss made battery. Unbelievable. I need to go see my mother in the Midwest more often and check out some of those jars of watches. Any more around here is nothing, but mountains of cheap quartz crap.

Awesome. Still no watches at GW here. At all. Not sure why my region is all sent for auction.

The new district manager is from somewhere down South and has been trying to kill the “jewelry jars in store” thing (they have killed all of the in store auctions except one store holding out). A lot of The obviously great stuff still goes to the online auctions, but a few pieces still slip through. And watches are only noticeable if they are Rolexes. And one was discovered at a local store about two weeks ago. It is amazing what people give away without checking. I love those people!

The watch didn’t look as good on me as I had hoped! With my tone, a lighter dial works. Or any shade besides gray. So I sold the watch to a buddy for $575. So we both win!

Thank you so much. This list will go in my little book that's with me always.
