I went back to the spot I got the 73 silver coin spill before and found another spill about ten feet away in the grass that was to long to hunt before. I was on lunch break today and got 15 coins out of the hole and went back after work and just now and got 5 more. I'm sure the hole is cleaned out but I'm going to continuously check around there every now and then. The first coin out was a barber quarter and I was psyched over that. Rechecked the hole and sure enough it was like last time were there was constant more hits. In the end I got 13 silver quarters and 7 silver dimes. They are mostly Canadian but I have 3 barbers and 1 standing Liberty. I'll get back later and post the dates. Thanks for looking! [emoji2]

Wow! That is crazy. Wonder what was going on there? Hopefully there is some more area you can check now that the grass is down.

Most of the area was levelled and filled for a new house. Just a fairly small portion of original yard left that just happens to be where I got the finds. I remember before I ever detected a foundation and what the whole original spot looked like as a kid. There was a store out of a old timers house back in the day. It would have been a huge amazing spot if not mostly ruined now. But I will be back to it! Haha

I'm thinking this is probably part of the original cache and got spread around at one time or another.....there could be some more to be found in the general area.

Could be it was just off the same grass road in the tall grass down about 10 feet from the first spill. Strange no coins in between though! I also find a big piece of ceramic bowl in this new hole with the coins and half of a old spoon about a foot from the hole!

I was thinking that there had to have been a concession stand of some kind for there to be that many coins.
Congrats on a really good score.

You are so close to 100 silvers in the cache, I hope you can squeeze a couple more out to make the century!

You have me wanting to go back with a flash light now! Haha

Congrats on a really good score.

The amount of quarters from the two spills is what's crazy. Maybe something popular there was for 25 cents. I'm still hoping a gold will show up there bad.
