I am not a coin expert but it looks really really old. Looks also like a hammered coin, perhaps a jetton. I'd guess 18th century or earlier. I found a late 6th century coin in a woods in South Carolina once. Somebody at that plantation was a coin collector. Is that Latin?

Wow, was that found in Canada?? Almost certain it is a 1650s to 1660s British trade token...if not, another possiblity is 1600s copper coin of Scotland (cuz that kinda looks like a Scotish thistle on one side)

Yes, it does appear to be a twopence (or 'Turner;) Earl of Stirling coin. I can't discern if it's an English or Scottish crown, though the values would be about the same. "There are many variations in the legends of these turners and also many contemporary forgeries." per Seaby's 'Standard Catalogue of British Coins Part 4'.
