You just told me something I never knew in the last 30 years.... that these were not Roman coins but Carthaginian Coins, I had always been told that when Rome took the Iberian Peninsula that they continued to allow the local provinces to mint their own coins, like this... but this means these are in fact much older than the Roman occupation of Iberia ?

I always thought that a Denarius was silver ?? But this is obviously Bronze ..
