18kt They will be doing a full appraisal and I will know next week. They think that it is early 1900's maybe older.

Well, that paid for lunch. Still think that it is 1880's-1890's and worth much more...

The value may change once they get the full appraisal. I was told minimum of $800... I have a feeling it is older as well..... I cannot wait until next Wednesday. Its just amazing sitting there pulling old nails one after another, then bam! gold! I crave to do this again and again! I want to quit my job and permanently attach a MD to my left arm, and a shovel with built in pointer in my right hand! I will eat through a straw the rest of my life if I have to....! < cannot tell I am still stoked, can ya? lol

Yeah, I was thinking a lot more too. I would bet the $1000 to $2000 range. Very nice find
