Definitely Victorian late 1880s- 1900’ish. Chairs around here are a real hard mover. They just don’t command the price like they used too. It’s worth to you what ever you paid for it and is a nice piece of history. I picked up a country Queen Anna urn back chair last Saturday for $20. Dates to around 1750-60’s. I believe it’s been stripped of its original color but I’m proud to own it. Clean it up a bit and enjoy it. Nice find!!
Gregg, your chair is late 19th to early 20th century. I have actually repaired one or two of them. The construction method is of this time frame. I think they still may be in the $75-125 range, restored.
