Any idea on when this bottle may have come from?

Not sure if general discussion is the correct place for this but ...

I tripped over this in the woods a few days back. It was on a small piece of land that an old road runs through that is about three inches under the top soil. We heard stories of a possible mansion being here at one point or another and besides this bottle laying near a fire hydrant in the middle of the land we didn't uncover much. Now there's no markings on the bottle what so ever and it's probably not that important but, I know nothing about bottles so I thought I would ask.

Probably a paper-labeled patent medicine bottle from the first half of the 20th century.
