looks like its been smoothed from usage very possiable.i've got a couple somewhere simular that i know forsure are artifacts.looks like you found it in a midden camp or is that just mud?

I agree with Chuck. It looks like a piece of slab cut limestone from a quarry and probably the kind that people use to make planters for their flowers.

thanks everyone for the replys..Steve im not sure what a midden camp is but i am about to look it up cause im very new to all this. Been hunting for about a month now and LOVE!!! it. This was found in the mud.. it was found in a area where they cleared a hill side and a friend and i have found some other nice pieces.
