This was in a bunch of stuff that I acquired from a friends collection.
He passed away several years back and this was in with some civil war stuff he had. No idea what it is.

Any chance of taking a couple more clear pictures, both front and back? Has the look of some type of stove lid/top, but that's just a guess.

Birdman,
When taking pictures lay your object out on a plain light background.
Your camera is getting confused on what to focus on with all that in the background.
