Berea is located about 30 or so miles south of Lexington KY. Berea College is located there and is known for helping out the folks of Appalachia.

As far as value or anything like that, I have no idea

wildrider,Thank's for info.after reading(havn't checked link yet)i remeber that that pottery was made by students to teach a trade&sell pottery for income(for the school?children themself's?),Thank's again!
