I have come across one of those vintage oak ice boxes that measures about 45
inches high, 18 inches deep by 26 inches across. It has an opening in front
and one on top, both with doors. Unfortunately, the previous owner didn't
really know what it was for and he painted the entire unit inside and out
including all the metal parts with a water soluable white paint. Otherwise,
there's no visible damage. In such a case, does anyone know if there is any
market value to this ice box?
