Title says it all. Newbie here... I have found an Union general service button on my first hunt off property.. Lucky I know.. But I do have a real drive to find more.. Would like to find somebody with expierience to help me out..

Hi 28138digger. I grew up in Salisbury on S. Fulton Street. Where are you located?
Have you tried around the bridge that runs over the Yadkin River. There was a Civil War battle there and I've heard you can find bullets and such there. Maybe try the boat ramp right beside the bridge off of the old highway too.
