sheesh....where do they find these nuts and why oh why don't they lock them up in a nice comfy padded cell along with all those dumb weak people he brain washes.

Someone ought to go set a truck full of fireworks off around his compound on June 12 and video tape that.

The religious sects in Texas are like granola...once your get rid of the fruit and nuts, all you have left are the flakes :coffee2:

Well, just to make sure I've got all the bases covered, I've changed my named to Hawkins.

I like the sound of it, and besides, it's shorter and easier to spell than my old name.

I certainly understand what MB is saying, though.
Many folks are easily swayed, to the point of blind obedience.
Others are steadfast and sure of themselves, and also suspicious of EVERYthing.
Yet, there is a gifted charlatan out there who can find even their button, in short order.
Those are the ones who fall hardest.

Somehow, I think it is NOT our thumb that separates us from the other beasts.

Best,
rmptr

And I'll come back again on this one...

OK MB, I find this post by MD intersting, including your assessment of the situation...

Watch the talley counter.

Why is it that Yama#$@!a thread surpasses ANYTHING ever posted upon Tnet?

By golly, it's had more DELETED from it than the size of most threads! ;D

There is some magical combination (which escapes me) that seems to push all the right buttons.

It IS fascinating.
Time for coolaid now...

Best,

It's almost like something non-human gives certain people this power.

. . .

How is it some people have strange power over others?

MB, I think you answered your question before you asked it . . .

2 Corinthians 11:12-15 said:
12 Now what I am doing I will still do, that I may cut off the pretext from those who are wanting a pretext for being found equal to us in the office of which they boast. 13 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder, for Satan himself keeps transforming himself into an angel of light. 15 It is therefore nothing great if his ministers also keep transforming themselves into ministers of righteousness. But their end shall be according to their works.

Yes, this is the passage I had in mind.
