And thrown in the lake. Was out with two friends Monday, when I dig up "the box".
I excitedly rush over to one of my buddies and he say's oh S-it! We walk up to the dry sand to meet our friend and open it together.
When the afternoon sun hit the stones in the box we all gasped! I did get a couple of you suck! acknowledgements for the find.
upon further examination the ring is marked 925 and the stones are CZ's.
Still a very fun and unusual find.

Ron,
Awesome finds. Someone must have been stoned to do such a thing. I did duct tape my old girlfriend to a rock once. As far as I know, she may still be holding her breath? ;D
Just kidding of course.
Great rings,
MM

Strange find, but really nice. If only the ring box could talk...bet it would be a shocking story.

That purple stone ring is gorgous. Looks like it'll knock your eye out.

Actually I think quite the opposite. They did that and that's where the box and rings should stay.

You're messin' with some bad mojo here.

And hey, what if those rings belong to a murder victim? :o Maybe someone was trying to get rid of a clue and won't be too happy if they see those rings plastered on the internet.

And you even have a google map on your profile pointing straight to ya. ;)

If you don't mind a newbie chiming in here - I'm thinking she found out she had CZs instead of ice and chunk the lot into the lake to spite the cheapskate ;)
