I found two of them in the same box last week, same year too. That was the firsrt I had ever seen of them.
Sorry I can't tell you more about them, I'm tryng to find out myself.

Never seen one either, I'd agree though, it is one ugly coin, but a really cool find! HH, Maverick.

Thanks all. Nice low mintage figure. I thought the details of the Capitol were worn off, but that's by design. Too bad I didn't fine the silver or proof version.

My first commemorative in the wild.
